Anatomy Have you ever felt the ink sack of the squid before? I’m going to explain where they live and the different parts of the body. Squids have six tentacles and two arms to help them swim in the ocean.They have big eyes to see deep in the ocean, where there is little light.Also their eyes are on the side of their bodies so that they can see and catch pray. The fins also help the squid to change direction as it moves through the water. The ink sack is when they squirt out ink and they use the ink sack when predators are trying to attack them.The gills help the squid breathe under the water. The water jet helps propel the squid in the water so it can move.They also have a beak.There are two beaks and they are black and yellow.There are 300 different type of squid.Squids have suction cups that are on their tentacles.The suckers are use for them to grab onto something. Habitat. Where squids live? Squids live in different countries ocean for example Hawaii. They live in different pacific ocean.Where squids also live is in Mexico, Hawaii,and California. There are also heaps of squid in the sea of japan.Squids live in the ocean because if they were living on the earth they will obviously die.Squids are coral reef animal. The coral reef is on the top of the ocean. Squids are fascinating animals in the world.
